It’s been a decade since I promoted my first gig aged 17 at the legendary venue, TJs, Newport, South Wales. A decade later, having been promoting in Oxford for the past donkeys knows how long… I am again promoting a gig in the land of my Fathers. To celebrate 10 years of independent promoting I have booked in a beauty of a gig into a new venue in Newport, the 200 Club, which is run by the late John Sicolo’s grandson, Ashley Sicolo et al.
